Within the scope of Intelligent Transportation Systems, 288 Accessible Pedestrian Buttons were installed at 54 signalized intersections. With the braille alphabet showing the geometry of the intersection on the buttons, embossing and audible warnings, safe and easy crossing at intersections has been ensured for our citizens with visual and hearing impairments as well as other pedestrians.
