Free Wi-Fi service, one of the activities carried out with the aim of strengthening technological infrastructure of the city, has been put into operation in 30 villages and the city center that have difficulties with internet access. A Free Wi-Fi point was established in Balıklı Square. Citizens will be able to connect to the internet with their devices from this Wi-Fi point covering the entire square. Free internet service, which firstly started in Balıklı Square, has begun to serve around Gaziantep University in the following days upon the efforts of Metropolitan Municipality’s IT Department. Citizens who cannot access the internet or do not have internet packages can utilize this service while waiting in the square.
