In line with Intelligent Transportation Systems’ (STS) strategy for developing infrastructures, all 379 signalized intersections throughout the city have been managed from Traffic Control Center since 2016, and direct intervention is provided to busy intersections with speed dome (moving) cameras, which we call general view cameras, at 110 of these intersections, which we have determined by taking into consideration the number of vehicles and traffic load (density) at a particular intersection.
